Hi,
Anyone who knows me knows that I am a FireWire guy, still I just found out about a super cool feature that most Macs have: Target Disk Mode
Simple and efficient, can be a real time-saver when you need it. Of course you could theoretically do the same thing with USB 2.0, if you build the appropriate support into the machine, but everyone knows that if you connect an external disk using FireWire you get much better performance than USB 2.0 :-) USB 3.0 will probably do better than 1394b S800, but then FireWire S1600/S3200 will probably outperform it again and universal peace and prosperity will be restored :-)
Have Fun!
